gilded age mansions + good vibes
Lauren & Dave officially met while working at a restaurant on the beach, so we knew it had to be the last stop of their engagement session! Despite having gone to high school together, the pair hadn't actually crossed paths until their days at Rooney's (Lauren was waitressing and Dave was working the oyster bar). After getting engaged in Aruba, these self-proclaimed homebodies now spend their time together travelling to North Carolina or curling up on the couch for a Marvel movie with their pup Winnie.
I had a blast at their engagement session not only because they're both super fun & hysterical, but because we kicked it off at my Alma Mater, Monmouth University! (Fun fact: not only did Ryan & I meet at MU, he's now both a professor and doctoral student there!). And speaking of kicks, Lauren & Dave totally nailed "the dip" under the gilded-age archway of the campus mansion. I'm counting the seconds till their Knob Hill Golf Club wedding in October!
