a love that goes the distance
“You're the one I'm thinkin' of
The one I'm dreamin' of”- gary clark, jr.
Katherine & Mo's love story is nothing short of epic. These two spent years apart while Mo's stations shifted before heading out west to California together. They're brilliant - she's an AP teacher and he's a Marine scientist - endlessly kind, madly-in-love, and absolutely adored by everyone around them.
Every aspect of their day was a love letter to their families & friends, from their "ring-warming" for guests entering the ceremony to the hundreds of paper cranes they made to adorn the table settings. I'm positive good luck will always be with these two.

the reception
Porta will forever be one of my favorite reception spots; from the decadant dangling crystals to the rustic long picnic tables, it's the perfect fusion of kitch, elegance, and fun. Guests' settings overflowed with gourmet pizzas and lemony salads, and the gorgeous dessert table was brimming with creations by Katherine's talented sister (including their cake!).
The couple changed into their matching purple Chuck Taylors in time to cut a rug all night on the packed dance floor, and took in all the love so vibrantly flowing around them. A night to remember, for sure.
wishing you a lifetime of love, k+m.
thanks so much for inviting me in.
